Texas Bowl

The 2009 Texas Bowl is in the books, and we have to tell you what a great time we had working with the teams and staff from Missouri and Navy.  Looking back, here are a few of our favorite memories:

Now that everything is wrapped up from last year’s game, we look forward to the 2010 season.  We will be partnering with the Big 12 and Big Ten Conferences with the number six pick from both.  We are also excited about our partnership with ESPN and the growth our game will experience under their guidance.

With National Signing Day just taking place, we look forward to seeing the teams that both of our conferences will put on the field in spring football.  Again, high school football in the state of Texas shined across the country with dozens of players committing to a variety of programs.

The 2010 NFL Draft will be held the evening of April 22, and we will closely watch to see where Texas Bowl alumni will land at the next level.  With players from Kansas State, Rutgers, University of Houston, TCU, Rice, Western Michigan, and Missouri there are sure to be several familiar faces playing on Sundays next year.  We are wishing our very best to the Navy athletes we came to know over this year’s game as they fulfill their commitment to serve our country over the coming years.
