Volunteer Opportunities

Bowl Week Events

During Bowl Week, the Texas Bowl hosts the participating institutions at a number of events including the Team Luncheon, Rodeo Bowl, Chairman’s Reception, Spouse’s Luncheon, and family outings to the Houston Zoo and Discovery Green. Volunteers are needed for event planning, logistics and hosting the events.

All Bowl Week event volunteers will receive Texas Bowl wearables, a special commemorative gift from the Texas Bowl and an invitation to the volunteer appreciation event.

Texas Bowl Gameday

Game Day for the Texas Bowl can be divided into two categories: TexFest and In Game.

TexFest is the pregame celebration held in Reliant Stadium parking lot featuring live music, Texas food, sponsor booths, and school spirit walks.

Volunteers are needed to assist with sponsor activities, help with team logistics, band needs and to act as ambassadors of the Bowl.

In Game volunteers can help support the Texans staff with multiple elements of the in-game experience including pregame ceremonies, halftime and the trophy ceremony.
